Vorokhta - rest in the complex Vodogray. Reviews, prices, restaurants and entertainment Just a couple of days ago, I went on vacation to the village of Vorokhta, to the hotel complex Vodogray. Reviews, prices, restaurants and entertainment Just a couple of days ago, I went on vacation to the village of Vorokhta, to the hotel complex Vodogray. Therefore, I hasten to share my impressions and reviews. The rest lasted only 4 nights and believe me, this is more than enough if you go to rest in Vorokhta out of season. And I went there just out of season, at the end of November, when there was no snow. By the way, this is a very important factor – snow. As soon as it falls, many vacationers immediately go to the Carpathians and housing prices rise. Villages come alive from tourists. By the way, there are mainly lovers of skiing, since in principle in the Carpathians there is nothing to do in winter, except for skiing or snowboarding. Oh well, let's get to the story of Vorokhta.

Vorokhta

A small urban-type settlement, which is located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region in Ukraine. Not far, namely 20 kilometers from Vorokhta, is the Bukovel ski resort. Therefore, a lot of skiers settle in Vorokhta when it is the season. In the same 20 kilometers from Vorokhta, there is Mount Hoverla, where you can also go and look at the Carpathians from a height of 2061 meters. Vorokhta is also famous for its stone bridges, of which there are 2 in the city. Both of them are very ancient and beautiful. That's basically all the attractions. Oh yes, I forgot, there is a village of Yaremche nearby, where you can go on an excursion, but I never visited it.

Restaurants and bars of Vorokhta

There are not many of them, or rather there are not a few of them :-), but those that deserve attention are few. So, which restaurants are worth going to: Donechki – I have not been there, but according to reviews, they are quite good and tasty food. Although in the Carpathians almost everywhere delicious food and portions are large. The donechki are located at the entrance to Vorokhta. Stara Vorokhta is a very beautiful restaurant, located in the heart of Vorokhta, has 3 halls, one of which has a real fireplace on firewood. I've been to this restaurant. Impressions are positive. Other Kolybs – in fact, here I have included all the other institutions. Most of the time I ate in Kolyba at the Vodogray complex. In general, the borscht there is very tasty, and the prices are not high!

Bridges of Vorokhta

As mentioned above, there are only 2 bridges. One is not far from the center, the other, in the depths of Vorokhta. If you walk along the main street, you will definitely see a second bridge. Well, under the first you will even pass :-). In general, the bridges are beautiful. We looked, admired for 10 minutes and moved on :-).

Mount Hoverla, excursion, how to get there

When it is not the season, Hoverla can only be reached by taxi. Go to the base of Zaroslyak, which is located near Hoverla from Vorokhta about an hour. You will pass by a checkpoint where you will have to pay 20 hryvnia per person for entering the reserve. There you can also be a little frightened by bad weather. To climb Hoverla, there are 2 trails that are marked by stripes on the trees. We were immediately told that we would follow the white and blue path. as on red and white ice. The ascent to the mountain took about 3 and a half hours. The descent down takes one and a half to two hours. It was very cold on the mountain, so dress warmly, and most importantly in the windproof. Because the wind is just creepy. But when you climb the mountain, it is hot, but climbing higher you feel the wind and cold. On the taxi account, agree with the driver that he would take you back. since you won't catch anything there. And yet, there are very bad catching mobile phones, so IN ADVANCE stipulate the time of the county. It is best to go to Hoverla early in the morning. It gets dark in the Carpathians at 5 pm, here count to five you have time to climb and admire the nature of the Carpathians. Under Hoverla there is a lake Nesamovite. We did not get there, because it is necessary to go far from Zaroslyak (the base near Hoverla). In one day to get to Hoverla and the lake is problematic in time and effort. Still, the climb to Hoverla is exhausting.

Vodogray Hotel Complex (vodogray.net.ua)

We spent the night in Vodogray. This is a whole hotel complex in Vorokhta. From the center of Vorokhta it is a 15-minute walk. The place is quiet. From entertainment, Vodogray offers its guests Kolyba (restaurant), billiards and sauna. In Kolyba, the food is very good. Prices are moderate. The sauna is also good, though small, there were two of us, a maximum of 6 people can fit there. Sauna on wood, you can order brooms (for an additional fee). In the Sauna there is also a barrel of water where you can jump. In fact, the sauna is a bath, you can pour water on the stones. Visitors are given towels, as well as a kettle and cups in the Sauna. Overall, I liked the sauna. I never played billiards. Billiards is located in the same place as the sauna, only on the second floor. Accommodation in Vodogra we lived in a three-bed junior suite. The room is completely upholstered with clapboard. The beds are massive, made of wood. The room has a refrigerator, TV, hot shower, toilet. Overall, it's not bad. The only weak point of the room is the warmth. In shorts and a T-shirt in the room do not look like, you need to wear a T-shirt and pants. And yet, a very weak point is noise insulation! It's a nightmare. On the last night, right at night, new guests moved into the second floor, before that we lived without neighbors. So, EVERY step downstairs was audible! Conversations were also heard, and the TV turned on at low volume was also audible. On the construction of the rooms saved. And they saved very badly. Well, imagine what it's like to live in a room where neighbors constantly hear each other? And also water, it gives off hydrogen sulfide. There's nothing you can do about it, it's just a feature of water. Just consider this factor. Conclusions on Vodogray: + Pleasant atmosphere + Very hospitable administrator – Vasily. + Quiet location in nature – Poor noise insulation – Cold rooms (although this is possible only applies to 3-bed rooms) In general, most of all I did not like the noise insulation. It's just a nightmare. Without this, it is quite possible to relax comfortably in Vodogra. Well, here are some photos of Vorokhta and her bridges: Vorokhta - rest in the complex Vodogray.
