Next to the base is a granite quarry. Houses are booked only in advance and by prepayment! The price of a house for 4 (2 rooms for 2 people) in 2013 was 250 hryvnia per day. This price includes a house with bedding, dishes, barbecue facilities, gas stove, shared shower (in the evening), shared toilet and shared cold water from the column. In general, it's not bad. The base itself is pretty quiet, although that's how lucky. Nearby there is a restaurant (and if there is a wedding then it will not be calm), the beach and of course the forest. Actually, the entire base is surrounded by forest. On the territory of the base there is a store with very affordable prices. A glass of draught obolon beer cost 6 UAH.
Personal experience of a three-day rest at the recreation center Ros
We decided to go there for the weekend + 1 day of the holiday, i.e. for 3 days. Cabins were booked and paid in advance. For 2 nights each house. With the time of exit and entry here is not very strict, i.e. you can leave at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and enter at 11-12 in the afternoon. We drove from Kiev by car. I do not recommend going there by car. Since the base is located on the outskirts and minibuses do not go there. That is, you will have to walk from the stop. At the Ros base, everything is Soviet. It took a very long time to settle. On check-in they gave out forks and spoons :-). And under the signature and the account. That is, for each one fork and a spoon was given. For about an hour we checked in Bed that was given out, was not particularly fresh, I got a sheet with chewy spots. Therefore, I recommend taking a light sleeping bag with you (if any). We leave the base and go to the beach: 
It is very small, but in general there is enough space for everyone. By the way, the Ros River is not very clean, but in general it is normal. The only thing that confuses me is the tape-wrapped inscriptions "swimming is prohibited": 
Next to the beach there is a cafe. But the beer there is already for 8 hryvnias :-)). With the fact that on the base for 6 :-). 
The most interesting thing I liked about the base, or rather next to the base, was the forest (where you can eat strawberries) and the bridge that leads to the granite quarry. It is located behind the beach, i.e. you need to go south. Grass and fields near the river:

We did not go further, but decided to go along the tracks in the opposite direction.

Conclusions on the recreation center Ros
In general, it is not bad to come to the base to breathe fresh air, make a kebab and drink beer :-). The price of houses is very humane and to get out of the city over the weekend here will be very good. Everything you need is here, even a shower in the evenings :-). The minus can be attributed to the toilet – it is terribly smelly! And there are mosquitoes in the forest :-). Some neighbors can turn on the music from the car, but there is nothing you can do about it.
