We decided to go to the most evil place in Phuket, to a town called Patong. This resort is often compared to Pattaya, but only on a smaller scale. But unlike Patai, on Patong in the sea you can swim :-).

We decided to go to the most evil place in Phuket, to a town called Patong. This resort is often compared to Pattaya, but only on a smaller scale. But unlike Patai, on Patong in the sea you can swim :-).
So, how to get to Patong from Phuket town
You can get there by tuk-tuk. In Phuket town there are large open minibuses (trucks) with three benches in the body. In fact, this is public transport and it is cheapest to move around in Phuket. That's just it does not go regularly, more precisely, the last flight from Patong to Phuket town – about 5 pm. The fare is very democratic, and is about 30 baht. If you are late for a minibus or want to get to Patong with great comfort, you can catch a taxi. But in Phuket, this pleasure is not cheap and a trip around Patong will cost 500 baht. This is the minimum, i.e. it is not possible to bring down the price below and this is movement on a mini tuk-tuk, an open Daihatsu machine. In time, go about 30 minutes, by minibus up to an hour.
What is Patong and what to do there
In fact, Patong is a resort small town, where there is a good beach, where there are a lot of people and good entertainment for tourists, like nightclubs, Thai boxing and restaurants. Basically, package tourists stay in Patnog, who come to Thailand for 2 weeks and rest to the fullest. Therefore, prices in Patong are slightly higher than in Phuket Town. It makes sense to go here only for entertainment, to hang out, so to speak.
Personal experience of staying in Patong
We stayed in Patong for as much as one evening, we did not like it here, due to the many tourists, the crowded beach and the high cost. Photos were not even taken, except for the popular Hard Rock Cafe, here are actually a couple of photos of this cafe. We will definitely not go to Patong again :-).
