As the poster says, this money goes to the fight against garbage that tourists leave: Immediately you can get acquainted with the map of the island. It is small, you can get around it in an hour:
A narrow strip of the island on the map separates the pier and the beach. Excursion boats depart from the pier to Phi Phi Ley:
And on the other side, quite a bathable beach. On which the majority of the people hang out. Alas, at low tide, you can't swim on the beach. Knee-deep water. And what would be deeper, you need to go almost 300 meters:
There is also a distant beach, to which you need to go through The Viewpoint (from which a wonderful view opens), there are fewer people there, but it is really long to stomp to it. At low tide, it still makes sense to walk along the rocks to shorten the time.
Prices for Phi Phi Don
Prices are high, all products cost one and a half to two times more expensive than on the mainland. Even in grocery stores like 7/11. Food in makashnitsa is also a little more expensive. Of course, you can find relatively cheap canteens, where simple rice will cost 10 baht. But in general, everything is expensive!
Price of housing on Phi Phi Don
Housing is also not cheap. Everything is rented only on a daily basis. Prices start from 300 baht per bed and 600 baht per room. But when we arrived at P-Pee in the evening, there was no cheap accommodation. There were bungalows for 700 and 800 baht, although we went around the whole island. That is, it is better to come here in the morning, then the choice of housing is greater. All of the above housing options with a fan, and for air conditioning prices start from 1000 baht and above. There are no special problems with the Internet on Phi Phi, many hotels have it. The speed is really very low.
