We decided to see the sea in Phuket :-). From the hotel, we had to walk pretty close. As we understood, on the embankment mostly locals walk, have picnics (without fire), drink cocktails, beer. And at low tide, the same locals collect edible shells. We were just on the waterfront at low tide. Although at high tide I understood no one swims there and the water is supposedly muddy. Actually, there is no point in going here specifically, but if you live nearby and want to sit on the grass and look at the sea, then why not do it on the embankment.
