From Kiev or any other city, by train you get to the railway station of Odessa, and there is a bus station nearby – and from it relatively regularly they want a minibus to Kurortne. Although the distance is 100 km, but the minibus goes about 2 hours. Why so – it will be written below. If you go by car to Kurortnoye – then prepare for the worst, expensive from Zatoka, you can say that it is bombed. Pit on pit. In 2014, it was faster to drive on the field than on such a road. That is, there are really so many pits that the speed is reduced by 10 km per hour. Such a section is certainly not from the whole of Zatoka, but from the village of Belenkoe – from there the road smoothly deteriorates and turns into continuous pits. Therefore, do not expect that you will get from Odessa to Kurortnoye in an hour. Drive there for 2 hours. Solely because of the road. We went to Kurortnoye by the way through the same Zatoka. There is then a turn to Belgorod and then to the left to Kurortnoye.
Where to live in Kurortnoye, an overview of housing and where to find it
Considering that we were only going there for 3 days. We decided to find that accommodation via the Internet. There are many sites that are found through search – where there are contacts of recreation centers and private houses with housing. In 2014, the price per night per person started from 50 UAH. This room is without amenities – shower and toilet shared. If you want to relax with the service – you can book a room in the hotel Budaki – it is known there. But the price for the room will be from 300 UAH. In general, in many recreation centers where the room has amenities – the price is 300 UAH for two. But we decided to go on a budget and therefore rented houses for 70 UAH per person in the dolphin recreation center.

Base this, I found by chance, just called and I liked the prices :-). Just call and say the entry-exit dates. The base is located in the center of Kurortnoye, really in the center! That is, then essentially a dead end, so you just need to get to this very dead end and turn left to the sea and literally through the store the entrance to the Dolphin. Prices for houses there start from 50 UAH per person. And in general there are 3 types of houses (2.3 4-bedded): – wooden without amenities, 50 UAH per person – stone without amenities, 70 UAH per person – houses with amenities – 120 UAH per person. Important! Keep in mind that you have to pay for the house as a whole, i.e. you can not rent one place in the house for 50 UAH, you in any case pay for all the places. The difference between stone houses and wooden ones is insignificant. Toilet and shower are shared. But in the stone houses there is a more cozy veranda, there are tables and benches. We went to the stone house – because the wooden ones were filled :-). Pros of the Dolphin Base: – Have your own kitchen, i.e. food you can safely cook yourself – There is hot water in the general shower – Great view! The photo will be just below. – There is a barbecue – There are tables on the veranda – Early check-in and late check-out are free – Free parking for the car – To the sea 5 minutes – The room has a refrigerator Cons Dolphin: – In the toilets there are no doors in the booths, i.e. you sit and pass by you – In the shower there are no curtains, it seems that this is a disease of the base … – there are only 2 grills, one is very small, so a fight is possible for it in the evening :-). Sea in Kurortnoye
There is nothing much to write, it is the same as in Zatoka. That is, the approach to the water is shallow at first (metro 50), and then the depth went. Entertainment is less than in Zatoka, but on a banana they roll, catamarans are rented. Shrimp and fish are worn, there are cafes on the beach, so everything is OK. The beach is wide: 
Now about the warmth of the water. It's like luck. Of the three days we were at the end of June, only one could be bathed. On the second day, my feet were generally reduced from the cold. But there were a bunch of crabs in the water. Really a bunch! the water was clear, calm and very cold. Therefore, with the warmth of water as luck would have it. 
Exploring the surroundings of the beach
If you walk along the beach in the direction of Zatoka, you can see expensive boarding houses-hotels. 
If you go to the end, you can see some kind of sluice and cranes. There are locals catching something or someone :-).

Where to eat in Kurortnoye, local canteens and restaurants
The day after arriving, we were puzzled by the local cuisine. So, the cheapest and most useful place is the dining room in the new market. She has been working since 9 a.m. Prices there are very inexpensive! Cooking is delicious! There is the first second and compote. The dining room is new – only renovated. Actually we always had breakfast in it. From "Dolphin walk 5 minutes". Portions for 40 UAH: 
From visited restaurants. Were in three. Prices everywhere are normal, with service as luck would have it. Prices for 0.5 beer – were about 10 UAH. I.e. cheap. Barbecue cost 50 UAH portion of 200 grams. In general, for the price-quality everything is OK. Of the night restaurants – there are only 3 of them. Although the season may still open. There is a disco on the beach, a restaurant with live music (synthesizer + singer) Storm, and there is also some kind of institution. That is, in general, the nightlife in Kurortnoye is weak. And rest here are mainly parents with children.
Entertainment in Kurortnoye, is it worth going here
In general, the rest in Kurortnoye is a bit boring. But if you eat with your company for 3 days – it's the best. There is a sea, there are people on the beach too: 
Prices are cheap, service is good. We were smiled at almost everywhere and well served. The mattress was even pumped up for free :-). Therefore, if you are thinking where to go to swim on weekends or holidays – Resort is a very good option! The budget of the trip we got 1000 UAH per person for 3 days (including the day of arrival (13-00) + the day of the county (16-00)). We were driving from Kiev. All inclusive.
